Rev. Yolanda, aka Roger Antony Mapes, is an ordained interfaith minister whose ministry centers around a very musical and somewhat outrageous drag night club act called “Reverend Yolanda’s Old Time Gospel Hour.” In addition to rousing versions of country gospel and spirituals, she also performs her own songs expressing love and acceptance.

Yolanda has been a major performer in the gay club scene for decades, but this the “Old Time Gospel Hour” is the center of her ministry, to the gay community and to all who respond to her work. She was a major hit at Wild Goose 2014.

Yolanda says she’s, “where the divine masculine and the divine feminine meet in the arms of love.”

This episode will feature three cuts from Rev. Yolanda’s new album, “Rev. Yolanda’s Country Gospel Kirtan.”
