Fr. John Dear is, to many people, Mr. Peace. He has been involved in just about every nonviolent anti-war and anti-military movement in the US for the last 30 years. His studies of Gandhi and worldwide nonviolent resistance have led him to become a leading advocate for nonviolence as a way of life and a way to change the world.
In a time when our countries are taking us further and further into war, his voice is a very important one. In this interview, John lays out his methodology for changing the world and bringing peace, finally.
Fr. John Dear is a Catholic priest, formerly part of the Society of Jesus (Jesuites). He speaks out for peace all over the world. (LDT008)
